A page with a purpose
Pick line spacing based on handwriting size. Five millimetres provides compact ruling, while eight or ten millimetres gives more vertical room. The left margin offers a place for short cues or corrections.
Try this on your next page
For reading notes, reserve the left margin for page references. Write a short paraphrase on the main line, then add your own question underneath. That makes it easier to return to the source without copying entire passages.
These are custom metric rulings. The spacing choices do not claim to match every school’s “college ruled” or “wide ruled” standard. Check your class requirements before printing a large batch.

A few useful details
Can I print more than one copy?
Yes. Set the number of copies in your PDF viewer or printer dialog. The downloaded file contains one page so you can choose exactly how many sheets to print.
Is this template free to use?
Yes. You may use and print the generated sheets for personal study, teaching and classroom distribution. See the usage terms for the limits on resale and redistribution.
Are my settings uploaded?
The customiser creates the sheet in your browser. Your template settings are not sent to a server by the generator. See our privacy notice for information about website hosting.
