A page with a purpose
Write a question in the left column and attempt an answer in the right column without looking at the source. Check your answer afterwards. Mark gaps clearly, then revisit those questions in a later session.
Try this on your next page
After reading about a historical event, ask “What were two causes, and how did each contribute?” Try answering from memory, then compare your explanation with your class materials. A question that asks for a relationship can reveal more than copying a definition.
Keep each prompt narrow enough to answer in its box. Use a separate sheet for long calculations or essays. Blank space is intentional: this template organises your own material and does not supply an answer key.
